The Undergraduate Student Government is comprised of the Presidential Team, the Forum body, committees, task forces, and supporting staff members.

    The Presidential team is centered around empowering and uplifting student leaders to create change through advocacy. They oversee all the teams and initiatives within the Undergraduate Student Government.

  • Representatives to the Board of Regents

    The R2R’s represent the UMNTC undergraduate student body by sharing their voices to the University’s highest governing body, the Board of Regents. They ensure that they uplift the voice of students and uphold the highest degree of integrity and passion.

  • Government and Legislative Affairs

    GLA works to represents students on the federal, state and local levels, meeting with administration and lawmakers, to make sure students’ voices are being heard.

  • Communications

    The Communications team focuses on projects that foster positive engagement throughout the entire student body while promoting USG’s initiatives and other student groups through media and outreach.

  • Forum Board

    Forum Board oversees committees and biweekly forum meetings, which consists of 20 At-Large Representatives, the undergraduate UMN-Twin Cities Student Senators, and Student Group Representatives.

  • Committee Directors

    USG has 5 committees: Academic Affairs, Environmental Accountability, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Campus Life, and Infrastructure. Guided by Committee Directors, committees promote change on campus and work on issues that affect students. Committees are open for any UMN student to join on a rolling basis.   • Specialized Committee Chairs

    Specialized Committee Chairs lead the Basic Needs, Campus Safety, Public Health and Prevention, and Technology and Digital Innovation committees which focus their advocacy on action items relating to the University as a whole.     Finance faciliates all spending and other financial aspects of USG’s advocacy, working to ensure that money is being used in a strategic way that maximizes the benefit to students.
